Daughter brings armful of pressies for me.

son = zilch!
So I really missed out by having no daughters.
i've just helped my son clean out his bedroom before school tomorrow. he's 15, 6'1'' and grunts by way of communication. i got fed up of nagging him to do it himself and invaded his personal space and started picking all the crap up! we filled 1 bin bag of junk, needed to empty the hoover twice and it took three hours to complete. in all my years, i don't think i have ever come across anything so disgusting - and i'm a nurse (so have seen pretty much everything!) it is also my birthday today...and he forgot! but i did get a big kiss and hug (when no-one was watching) and a thank you for helping him out with his pig sty x
My son has always been very tidy, considerate, and responsible, he will do anything to help, my Daughter's a little less sensible I suppose, and very very untidy!! but still very caring and considerate....................I must be just Lucky!!
Lol! I've started with my own boys while they're young - they tidy their bedrooms, or else no pocket money - and I mean it!
