Our grandson spends time at our house so I'm looking for a sensible routine for worming the cat. The baby is not crawling yet, I imagine it will be more important then.
The RSPCA site doesn't give a schedule, and the NHS just say worm your pets regularly.
Both my cat and the cat in the babies house are hunters, so might get reinfested from what they catch.

I worm my cat every 6 months, she's also a hunter. There are two tablets to be taken; one at a one week interval from the other. My cat won't swallow the tablet so I have to crush it into a small tin of cat food. HTH

As I am a coward I get the vet to do the wormy thing when it has its catvac.

Does your cat have to have the run of the whole house.....why not outdoors & just the kitchen? Which is more valuable the health of the children or the welfare of pets?

I get my worming pill from the vet and they recommend worming every three months for an active outdoor cat. We do live in the country and she is a prolific hunter, you don't want to know what she brings home.

if you go on the I think its the frontline website they will email you a week before you are due to worm your pet.
