how do i remove an answer to a question which i should not have posted?

Well, if you can combine a bit of racism and sexism with lots of explatives, then that should work.
Of course ... if the thread doesn't get pulled, you're going to look a bit daft
(and the Editor might be away for the weekend).
Couldn't you just go back and do a new post, and say ...
"Hey, I've just looked back at my earlier post. I think I was wrong."
People do like it when you hold your hands up to your mistake in posts. You could come out of it quite well.

cat murphy. An apology on the thread where you posted your offensive comments would be a start. That is if you genuinely mean it. If you have read through the whole of the thread you surely will have realised that you have upset and offended people who are suffering from cancers of various kinds, and who are kind enough to offer support to others in the same situation.
