Orange oil works on gloss surfaces, it works pads will remove the crayon but may also take the paint off, neat washing up liquid might work of it hasn't been there long. Soften the wax with a hairdryer and try to blot as much as possible off with kitchen roll before trying anything else. Both suggested cleaners are available from qvc no I am not a shareholder or emplyee its just where I bought them !!
You may find that you get the wax off but the pigment will have soaked into the wall surface, also you will need to thoroughly degrease the bit where the wax was in order to repaint if you need to.

When we moved in there was some crayon or coluring pencils on our oak floor. Thoses white sponge stain remover pads work well. Think Fairy make one - but also available at Aldi. You just wet them gently rub the stain and it comes off. These work well with loads of other stains too.
You could also try kitchen roll and an iron. on low. The heat should melt the crayon and the kitchen roll absorb it..? Not sure where I have heard that though....
