As for taking drink on the plane, the woman in front of us travelling with a child the other day was allowed the child's drink, they just had to be seen drinking a bit by the staff by the X-ray machine.

Saying that, there's usually a Boots or something once you've gone through security so you could purchase a suitable drink there which is allowed on the plane. Anything you purchase after security can be taken on board (assuming it fits in your hand luggage!).

You should be able to get fresh milk from the supermarket, might just have to get it daily and keep it in the coolest place possible. Though they usually have UHT in Spain, which children often reject, but maybe you can try them on it before you go.
Hi Phil,
I live in Spain and you can get fresh cows milk in most of the Supermarkets out here.
Although you don't have a fridge in your room, it may be worth asking at reception if it's possible to rent one? Some hotels have the small portable ones that you can rent for the week at a small charge.
Hi, I'm in Spain at the mo. I find that the milk over here has a stronger, creamier taste, so you may find that the semi-skimmed (semidesnatada) is a bit like the full fat stuff in UK. Puleva and Pascual are the brands I usually buy. Perhaps the hotel can let you have a bucket of ice to keep it cool, and you can go down and refresh the icebucket when necessary.
thanks for the advice.much appreciated.
I live in Spain half of the year. Depending on where you are staying you can get all sorts of milk.
If you are staying in the Fuengirola area there is an Island store where you can get English milk, otherwise you can get fine Spanish full fat cows milk anywhere.
The English milk can also be bought in most large supermarcados in the area I mentioned. I don't know about other places.
