can anyone avise a web site which gives venues of forthcoming marriages in a particular area. (Llanelli) Have tried local newspaper sites but no luck.

As far as I am aware banns are read out in a church and notices are put up at registry offices. I don't know about hotels etc. Maybe you should check with the local registry office as they should have all the details.

we are attending a wedding in llanelli and wish to send a present in advance. Is that OK

No, some guy stood up and shouted "She can't marry him" several times. The ushers escorted him out and the priest went outside and talked to him, and then came back and continued with the service - just a tipsy exboyfriend, without "just cause or impediment"

It was surprisingly calm and civilised really.

As a small choirboy, I was quite disappointed,,,,,,,,,,
