Sick Pay
2 Answers
My daughter has been told today that she has to have a tonsillectomy in about 2 months time, waiting lists permitting. She starts a new job at the beginning of September managing a Playgroup and is being paid hourly. After the operation she has been told she will have to take 2 weeks off work. What, if anything can she claim in Sickness Benefit either from her employer or the government? Thanks.
