Breastfeeding
Hello,
Can someone please offer some advice.
Does breastfeeding make your boobs sag?
I've heard so many people say it does but after looking it up online I have read a few bits that say it doesn't and it is infact only the pregnancy its self that has this effect.
I know the benefits of breastfeeding should out weigh my worries on what it will do to my body, but I feel I will be very self conscious after. I dont particularly love the way they look now let alone what i'll be like afterwards.
I'm a large chested girlie for a size 10 so they are more likely to drop :o(

I breastfed for 3 months and my boobs aren't as 'full' as they were. I do put it down to breastfeeding but it could just be the effects of my pregnancy itself I suppose. I'm not too happy about it (nor my horrendous stretch marks!) but I'm so glad I was able to breastfeed and It wouldn't put me off breastfeeding again.

I don't have a large bust but they are still the same size although I don't think they are droppy. It is true that they do get huge when you are preganat (which is quite a nice side effect) so they are bound to be a bit disappointing afterwards.
I have breast fed five babies now (the last two are twins) and I would wholly recommend it - not from some earth mother, knit your own underwear point of view (even though I know the benefits) but it is so convenient! On my first three children I had to return to work so they had to go on to bottles and it is such a fuss - sterilising, making sure you have enough formula with you (and holidays are a nightmare for that), is it too hot/cold and it is really expensive.
(PS - you'll be so knackered for a couple of weeks that you won't care what you look like but on the plus side you'll have one less thing to do if you don't have to sort out bottles!)
