getting names mixed up.

me, my dog who my nan regularly looks after, my mum and my aunty all get called each others names. She hasn't got anything mentally wrong with her (including alzheimers), its the only thing she ever gets mixed up or forgets. Is this a bit odd?

There's nothing wrong with them, they just muddle names up. My Granddad was one of the most intelligent people I knew, he could tell you the intricate details of how most things worked but names, just slipped his mind!
totally normal, my Mum used to go through all our names when we were kids and I do the same with mine! Especially when I am angry lol I am still calling my dog Max, even though Max is now gone and I only have Bingo, but they were 'Max and Bingo' for 10 years and so I still call max and bingo when it's feeding time!
