You should have been honest at your first go; unless you can substantiate your claims of 'blackmail' you stand not a cat in hells' chance.

who threatened you? go back to the cops and report it and talk to your solicitor, i dont think they will charge her again without proof that she has done something else, but thats a different matter isnt it, u should have stuck to your guns and gone ahead with the court proceedings and not be scared of who ever threatened you, and u should have reported that threat promptly.

u have rights and if she was convicted with your evidence, she would have had a criminal record i.e violence, and you would have had joint or full custody of your son, providing you are a good capable and responsible person/father! I would sort this out via a solicitor and try and get rights sorted out in terms of your son, good luck!! and dont be scared of the family they are yobs and if they behave like that, your son shouldnt really be with them, and you should be sticking with wat is morally right!! and thats protecting you son
