Implant/implanon spotting

I am due to have my implanon (3yr) taken out in june this year but i have started spotting and getting pains in my boobs im getting paranoid is this normal?

When I had the implant I seem to recall being told at the beginning that you could have bouts of spotting and it might make periods irregular, (actually stopped mine altogether which I was overjoyed aboutb at the time) but I thought that was only in the beginning. I don't think I ever had painful boobs.... I don't I would have considered this quite normal but I had the implant seven years ago and I'm not sure if it's moved on since then.
