When I got home, after the anasthetic had worn off I lay down on the couch dozing.
My eldest daughter came home and did her normal trick of jumping into my lap for a hug. I think thats the only time she ever saw me cry!!

Personally I couldn't donate eggs, to me it would be like giving away my child - I would be happy to carry a baby for someone as long as it wasn't genetically mine so not completely selfish!

Mercenary yes, but I don't believe motherhood is a right and I'm not a charity case. If you want my eggs then pay me for them as if you can't afford the inital out lay for IVF then you might want to think about the long term costs of raising a child.
