big prize in the middle
Little prize in every layer (and then fix it so that every kid gets a pressie).
Sorry - plus the big prize in the middle.
how old are the children? if they are young (5 ish)...a prize in every layer and a slightly larger prize in the middle...everyones a winner x
Question Author
its his 5th birthday.
when i was a kid it was always just one prize, the kids will get a party bag at end
If your going to do it - do it big style!
even if it's a lollypop red...they all like to think they achieved something
We didn't get party bags - just a piece of cake.
Question Author

we didt get party bas a kds either. just cake, possibly a balloon and if we were lucky enough to have won the pass the parcel, a little colouring book or some crayons
Every time I do a party it is way over the top - I always panic about the food and there is always loads left over (although I have given up including anything healthy). The eldest is in between party and disco age so he didn't have one this year. The 6 year old progressed to a soft play place (brilliant - just cough up and show up with a cake). Having a joint one for the soon to be five year old (share the sandwich making) and the 'babies' (refuse to call them the 'twins') won't be having a party till 2013!
But your old red.... today it's different (I'm joking)

OTM, i am so stressed at the moment, so much to do, that i cant even consider enjoying it. But as long as my lad does then thats all i care about :)
Just keep throwing sweets at them - they will love you (and their parents will hate you when they go home on a sugar high!).
Question Author
lol, thanks for that mazie.

ok, so looks like lollypops in the gift layers. I have no idea how many are coming so looks like some kids may miss out or may get two if i have to guess.
Question Author
lol sherrard! i think all mums swear silently when their kids are brought home from a party on a sugar high and with more sweets in a bag that they want to eat on way home
he will red...we have parties for the kids a lot here and I get stressed. Guess what, they just enjoy them. As long as they have their friends and jelly and ice cream and a sandwich (if they have to) they love it...Just let them run riot....AND you're not there to impress the other Mums...Sod em
