I sooooo love it when you're mean to me sara
it's because I know that deep, deep down, you have just a little bit of love for me in your heart ;o)
how do these same sex parents consieve ?
Sara, deep deep down I have a little bit of love for lots of women!
marvellous, how very flattering!
Better to have a little piece of the pie than to go hungry!
thanks, I'll try to remember that :o/
I suspect the amount of flack children get will vary considerably according to what part of the country or city they may reside in. Those areas with a higher percentage of gays, and a more liberal political make-up will hopefully see less bullying due to a child's parentage, and their lifestyle.
I have no problem with it...as long as they are loved, and the parents are committed to each other and their children...then what gender and how many parents is of no importance.

Do you think the child is more likely to be gay when they are older?
No molly....I see it as biological, not choice.
I actually agree with JJ too and with Woofgang. I actually don't really believe that gay couples should get pregnant but A.I. or by willing donors, but then I don't believe hetrosexual couples should either. I didn't have my son until I was in my late 30's and didn't believe I would ever get pregnant and had accepted it. There are plenty of children (not babies) however that need loving parents and to me it matters not a jot whether they are hetro or homo sexual. A loving secure home with two people that care about them would be wonderful.
As per Pasta above ^.
I have no idea what I think.
Biologically it is natural to have heterosexual parents, isn´t it?
I cannot see the problem of homosexual parents, providing that there is love and care which has already been mentioned.
Now what effect that will have, if any, on the child or his education having homosexual parents, I know not, but only time will tell as we are in the initial stages of public acceptance.
The interesting aspect to me, would be, would the child then grow up top be hetero or homosexual. I am not arguing as to whether or not it would be a good or a bad prospect, but just interested from a socio-psychological aspect.

If the child got married, who'd give them away at the wedding?
molly...the same 'problem' would / could crop up if the child had only a mother.......
Molly, loads of people are not given away by their father. A bride can choose who gives her away. In my case noone gave me away!!
pasta...if a child had only a mother............why or to whom would she marry?

There would be no fellow about......am I missing the point?
nobody gave anyone away at my wedding.
You can 'make' someone gay.

I don't really find blonde men attractive. My Dad use to be blonde...
