what to do when you know the person you like isn't good for you
3 Answers
I stupidly lost my virginity to a boy I wasn't in a relationship with.. I now really like him and we are both going to be at the same place next weekend.. I don't think he would have contacted me unless he had found out we were both going to be there, in which case I may never of seen him again.. now I don't know what to do because I know seeing him again will make it worse and I don't want to be used again but it's going to be too hard to ignore him.. he says all this stuff that I know is all bullcrap but it's hard to ignore the boy you really like telling you he feels the same way even though you know it's all lies but a part of me thinks maybe he's being truthful.. what should I do when I see him next week? try to stay away from him or talk to him about the situation or what...

It's very easy to feel attracted to the person you first "did it" with, but if there is nothing there, it's a waste of your time. He might - sadly - feel that if he's done it once he can do it again. Tread carefully, play hard to get, see how you feel when you see him.
You shouldn't lose your virginity, as if it were an accident. Dispose of it intentionally and don't make a big issue out of a little tissue. It might be better with just anyone rather than someone you're so passionately in love with it will hurt even more if things don't work out. Love has been sweet-sour for more thousands of years than we can know. There's no cure, it's part of the human experience. Remember what Gibran wrote about Joy and Sorrow.
