Okay some of u may not know this answer so it may turn out to be more of a rant than a question. If you stopped seeing your children from 2years old to 18years old, would u not try everything to keep them in ur life?? rather than turning them agaist u by trying to make them choose things over u?? Does a father do that??

If I were you I would tell him that he has been missing from your life for 16 years and if he wants to be in your life now he has to accept the way you are and not give you ultimatums. If he can't accept that then its his loss

Or as a relative outsider, he can see panda's boyfriend for what he is. A layabout who doesn't get out of bed until mid afternoon- does he have a job by the way?

He is on much needed medication that makes him sleep til midafternoon, no he is unable to work due to looking to after me as i am ill. My partner totally stood back while i got to know my dad so no reason for my dad to not like him.
