need help finding my adopted brother
hi if anybody could give me any advice or help finding my adopted brother i would be very greatful. i am searching for my brother who was adopted in 1986, i know his D.O.B and what his name was before adoption but am unsure if it has changed. he was fostered for 6 weeks before he was adopted and i know the name of the foster mother. i also know the name of the social worker dealing with his adoption at the time. im not sure what to do with this information could some one please help. Im from northern ireland. not sure what the laws are. thanks and if you can help in any way please do thanks.

Sorry,I should have said (roughly) how the Goverment site works.
You enter the name,DOB,etc of your adopted relative,and the Government enters these into a register that can be searched by the adopted relative.
If they wish to contact you they can do so (anonymously) through the site.
As far as I can see you cannot read the register, it has to be the adopted person who makes first contact.
