I am trying to get in touch with a friend but have their name and address only. 118118 have told me that they are ex-directory. Is there anyway I can find out what their phone number is?
Doc, do we want to know what you're wearing? How do those voice/text things work, i've never recieved one, does it only work if the textee has spelt things correctly?
woofgang -those are random/opportunist calls hoping a female answers. Its very common.Ive had them loads over the years -its like being on here or any other public domain -its the thrill of the reaction they enjoy -if you dont react they just move on...
I honestly cant believe nowadays that anyone feels threatened by a published number nor address for that matter as we are all (?) on the electoral roll.
I understand eons ago -but not nowadays and im not just talking AB here -suppose Doc and I did that to prove that there was nothing to hide...
Ive had a few text calls on my land line -ive kept them -they are hilarious to hear this posh woman saying the things that some of my drunken mates thought they were texting-no names no pack drill Leggy :))
DOC !! Got a text on my phone for you -it wasnt a rudy but sorry for the person who sent it cos it was short (def NOT rude) but I couldnt make the posh birds voice out. (ps wont divulge the number it was sent from lol) ..
I understand our numbers being deleted to a degree in case others who were less able would follow suit and maybe it wasnt a great example to put out but im still not fussed if anyone has it...its out there anyhow lol
Dris they were not random and opportunist..they were not sexual in nature. We are on the edited part of the electoral roll. We did find out where the caller got the number but never found out who it was although we had our suspicions.
