What is the average price for a Church wedding? It would be in Scotland (don't know if it matters or not) and it's a fairly small town. Any other info would be great :)

This site quotes the Wedding Fee as £60.50, with use of the church costing between £150 to £250:

However, that's on Islay. Other sites I've looked at suggest around £300 for the use of the church (with up to £700 being charged for certain popular venues).

Down here in Suffolk, someone has recently mentioned to me (during the past week), that they're paying £300 for the use of the church, plus the vicar's fee (which I'm not sure of), plus extra for the choir and yet more for the organist.

Thanks Chris :) It's not too bad then.. I doubt this one will be £700. Its for my friends wedding so she will be pleased. She basically asked me to plan the whole thing tonight. It's so exciting haha x
