What was the series called, based on the novels of H.E Bates, and broadcast by the BBC in the late 1960's, in which the irrepressible Larkin family lived life to the full in rural Kent?

(I thought the Darling Buds of May was broadcast on ITV in 1991)!

Actually that might not be right (ooooo wish we could delete our posts!) that's a film version made in late 50's. Sorry!
But bearing mind where Boo went to look, there is nothing else there that it could really be. Aside from that film and the later ITV one, it seems there have been no others.
It was called The Larkins and starred Peggy Mount as Ada Larkin. There were also other shows, not really spin offs but that sort of thing
Thinking about it, it may not have been the Larkins, which was a sit com starting in 1958 and a film in 1960. Peggy Mont played the loud mouthed Ada Larkin and David Kossoff her long suffering husband.
Starred Bernard Miles as "Pop Larkin"
