I like to have all the usual added fruits but I prefer to have half lemonade and half ginger beer/ale as a mixer.... And I always like the warm, crispy coated spicey nuts you get in some bars with any alcoholic beverage!
Three measures Pimms, One Measure Gin, plus your fav fruits for me apple, strawbs, rasps and orange, lemon and lime. Lots of Ice, a non-sweet lemonade or a lemonade 1/2cut with tonic....No Mint.....

yes to the Cuc as well.....and cut out the lime
I have only ever twice in my long life had to drink Pimms. They are not something which I would describe as "moreish". "Two more pints of your best Pimms, landlord", doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.
It gets ordered quite often in summer in the salubrious establishment that I frequent in deepest Cornwall, Mike......they probably think it is Scrumpy.
i wouldnt wash the car with it
I just double the amount of gin in the usual recipe..........
Reminds me of the old joke about two Geordies who go on holiday to Rome for the first time. They go into a bar and are asked what they would like.
“Dunno. What does the Pope drink?“
“Crème de menthe.“
“Two pints of that, then.“
Lol Mike - that stuff is bog awful. Alcoholic toothpaste and should be all sent to the Vatican and banned, just as the Danish have banned Marmite. I would hate to think of the all those additives in a pint of the Pope's poison.
The worst drink I ever tasted (quite popular in the early 70s) was Campari. Absolutely foul stuff.
Chartreuse Green for me and some of the Mao tais, such as Wushi (7 grain alcohol and 70% (yes not proof)) do not do it for me......
mike, i agree re the campari, it was very posh in the 70^s
needs borage flowers cucumber and lemon to offset the sweetness and should be served by the bucketfull loads of ice and lemonade gin to taste...i.e lots
