I have been a Dubonnet fan since i could legally drink nearly 40 years ago. I bought a bottle recently and it definitely tastes and smell different and not for the better. So...it it me or have they changed it?

I hope Norfolk biddies have not found themselves beset by Imperial stormtroopers, upset tummies are quite bad enough. Nice day here so far but rain is predicted. At least no snow is on the way. My cough may be receding. My tooth is not actually hurting. The car is in the garage having its leak looked into. Things are on the up!

Going to Malta on Sunday for some warmth.
Can nothing stop that jude??? Have a super time!

I am all snotty again and cough is bad but I feel OK.

I've been wating months for Mr N to decide when he is going to England and how long for, he's not overly fond of some of my family so was expecting a fight, well he's booked to stay with my lot for 4days, I wasn't expecting that, so now am trying to work out my dates so that my sisters and I can do some things together and see some shows or something (like shopping!!) which he is not interested in.

Good morning all. Robi, is it time to be beating on the Doc's door? Jude i am glad that you are mending. Today is good here. We went for a long walk this morning after a normal night's sleep and the weather is .....well, better than it was.
Today I think we'll potter in the garden
I think it's just that cold/flu virus that's lingering woofy. It's only a two or three weeks since I saw my gp and I'm assuming there was nothing wrong with the blood tests as they'd have been in touch by now. I know half were ok when I rang for results but which half of me is good I'd love to know....the other results hadn't been noted on the computer. My innards are dodgy today and hope I'm not going to have a long run of it (pardon the pun) like poor Jude.

What a lot we are...Malta sounds good jno, it's 23C there today with haze....I've just got the haze.

Think I'll look for another book for my kindle, I read the freebie Tarquin downloaded as a demo. It wasn't up to much but it passed a few hours.

Robi, if you like the classics, there are loads of free or very cheap ones on amazon, I have bought loads of collected works ones for about 99 p or less. There is also Project Gutenberg for a ton of free stuff. We are being quiet here, I should be doing stuff but cba
Hello all
Sorry to hear you still feel under par Robinia .All things must pass as they say ,so I hope it soon passes and both sides of your body get in snyc .Failing that we'll follow Jno to Malta in a starship .
Hope you feel better soon too Neti .
Nothing doing here .It's cold and misty .We do love to be beside the seaside, but not today .
I got ready to poddle to the shops earlier but my hips and knees said no.
So that's another day without a fresh cream cake
Have a lovely weekend Jude .

I am enjoying my current favourite dessert when there are no strawberries to dip in chocolate. You core an apple and cut it into slices then serve it with a pot of marks and sparks caramel sauce to dip the bits into.
Stop it Woofy .....right now :)

lol shaney pretty delicious...The dogs get their share of apple without sauce.
Evening all. I am so tired. Normal day and then I decided to book the same flight to England as MrN (damn Ryanair!) as he is getting a car and we are both going to sister's. His booking wentthrough smooth as glass, mine? such a lot of bother, paid2x for the same flight, so had to call them in UK (30€) the no email so I managed a "free chat" online which was great and they conformed one flight and cancelld the other and 2hrs later my email confirmation came through. Apparenty I booked priority boarding, haha so I'll leave Mr N to scramble on at the end and will not save him a seat!! Then I had to book an easyjet flight back to Ibiza as am leaving 6 days after him, I hate all this.
Just made Thai, chicken, pot and peanut curry, pad thai with onions, peppers and a few prawns (Mr N hates prawns,) but it needed a Little something, and jasmine rice, very nice, missed the start of Eastenders cos he was late!
neti, priority boarding will probably get you onto the bus across the tarmac first but if he's left standing by the bus door while you lounge in a seat, he'll be first on the plane.
Question Author
trust jno to know that....
I jsy had a lovely dinner out fof the freezer mostly. Mini coquille st jacques (waitrose) with pea and asparagus risotto (tesco) and some fresh english asparagus....deeply delicious.
When i come in after walking the dogs i am usually ravenous so i have popped a tray of ikea cinnamon buns in the oven for tomorrow morning.
Oh no jno, we have galloped into the 21Century , no buses just a long long long down sloping covered walkway onto the plane, oh maybe we have to pay Ryanair extra for that!
And when it was buses, the priorities got a cordoned off part of the bus and let off first to run like the wind before the hoi polloi were released!
Question Author
Ya can't beat Ryanair for class, can ya?
they were probably just sent out first to see if there were any oil slicks on the tarmac, before the crew ventured out.
Don't panic Neti,
Wear your tiara and smile and wave very regally. Tell them you're the Queen of Ibiza and a famous editor and that Mr N is your butler .They'll rush you on the plane and ply you with cocktails :)
Goodnight folks .sleep toight.
