Where can I buy some cheap enamel mugs for camping?

I am not sure if this is the right area for this question but will ask it anyway. I need some enamel non-breakable mugs for camping but not sure where to get them. I live in the Shropshire area but could go to Shrewsbury and will be in Birmingham in the next week.

Sorry to ask such a mundane question but as most of you know I am on a very low income (none) and will be needing to get them as cheaply as possible. I know that they can be very expensive and do not wish to be fleeced for them.

Yes that's true, but there are other mugs listed if you search - I bought some china mugs a couple of weeks back, they were listed separately but when I bought 4, the combined rate was much more economical.

Do you not have a local shop who puts small ads cards free in the window? We do on our estate - just write on a card that you would appreciate any mugs if people have finished with them. Often they break a few out of a set of 6 and then buy a new matching set and bin the rest or put out in a charity bag. Pity you don't live near here Jonny - I'm sure I have a few waiting to go to charity ..

PS - why do they have to be unbreakable - are you carrying them in a rucksack - if so, plastic would be lighter to carry. If you are just camping in a tent, use normal pottery ones ......

I had some trendy enamel mugs from Habitat in the 70's.............we couldn't use them as the handles got hot.

Did you manage to find any mugs, do you have a go outdoors near you as they have a sale on, well i guess other shops would too like milletts

Some of the supermarkets are still selling off loads of melamine picnic mugs now, too.
