Rum Truffle Stout 5.7% from Angel Ales Ltd, Halesowen.
Sumptuous chocolate stout with added rum
Bad Santa 6.8% from Backyard Brewery,Walsall.
Rich and fruity, slightly spicy flavour with hints of cranberries on the palate.
Abbot Reserve 6.5% from Greene King, Bury St Edmunds
Distinctive full-bodied, smooth and mature beer, bursting with rich fruit cake and toffee flavours.
All available from 'The White Horse, Harborne.
Whatever your taste in Beer (or Wine for that matter) enjoy it !!

How times have changed ... for the better.

I used to drink in the White 'Oss when I was a stoodent - the only 'draught' bitter then was the very dodgy Ansells ...

... I drank the Mild adulterated with bottles of Manns Brown to take away the taste :)

... just about to stick the turkey in the oven before nipping over to The Bull for a couple - wonder what the guest beer is (was Church End Rein Beer last week - very nice)

I had a pint (or two) of Funky Monkey from the Milk St Brewery, Frome.

It was very, very pleasant; I bet they run out before I get back to the pub though :-(

New Year Beers to add to the list :-
Vertigo 7.2% from Salopian Brewery,Shrewsbury.
Very Dark, the aroma of chocolate & roasted malts and then the flavour of pine & citrus.Full bodied and strong.
Uncle Sam Triple Hop 5.5% from Milestone Brewery, Notts.
Medium bodied, smooth and creamy.
Oxymoron 5.5% from Otley Brewing Co,Pontypridd.
Another very dark Beer with rich chocolate and hop flavours.
All available from 'The Post Office Vaults', Brum on Saturday.
