Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.
Morning all...I was thinking what a lovely light morning it was and then I realised I'd slept late. Jude should have set her alarm :) Neti, re the baby, you have mail. I mentioned it yesterday afternoon. thwack! ....for not paying attention... I think this will be my song du jour...
Dinner was surprisingly nice, chicken sausages (if there was any chicken in them but being spanish there wasn' t any bread in them) were lovely and I made a very nice cauli cheese, and an ibicenco salad, which is sauteed pots, parsely, garlic, red peppers, and I bunged in a few mushrooms, really nice, and then dear Mr N ate his apple/red fruit pie and a whole packet of custard, there was no way I could stuff any more in!
Yes ,do go to the mexico Robinia if you're no better by Monday and call him in if you don't feel you can make it to the surgery.Don't let it get a hold on you for goodness sake.
That's a pretty Camelia Woofy .Lovely colour.
well, all I achieved today was a trip to Tesco for some mineral water. I'm all snuffly but I think that's just from spending too much time indoors. Robi, you sound in a very biddy way. If I were you I'd be making an appointment to see my GP in about a week and a half.
Well I've just been chosen to do a modelling photoshoot, for the older woman in Ibiza, they ask "do I have a cocktail dress"???? No!! so I'll just wear the pink thing I wore to nephew's wedding 2 years ago. Oh exciting!
Mr N is hacking and sawing through water pipes in the laundry room as it is still blocked, we have been bypassing it, but needs doing, it's a mystery, as it's going away slowly but not right yet!!
Morning all...
Thank you for your concern but it's only been a few days and I've got some sense of smell back this morning. It's the tedium of one thing after another for months that's got me down...illness, injury, life crip. As my hippy friend used to say, the pendulum always swings both ways, so I live in hope. Knowing my luck, as it swings by it'll crack me on the head, lol.
Weather looks more hopeful today too. I really must find a mowerer man, the grass looks a mess. Funnily enough I watched Gardener's World in bed earlier and Monty said that [from yesterday] everything was going to get better and better. BBC2 neti, it's on Iplayer in case you missed it.
Hello all
It's not a bad day after the fog lifted but still cold with that chilly easterly breeze.Hope you're all ok and I'm sure when it warms up you'll feel better Robinia .I'm a bit fed up with the cold weather now ,still at least the clocks go froward next week and the lighter evenings will make a difference .

Hi all.Hope your weekend is going well. And Robi get well soon. If there's anything I can do please ring cos I know I gad about but I would have time to do some errands if you need any.
They've finished the road now haven't they?
I'd like to report that the painting isnow done but I think the landing side may need another coat.
Going to cut the grass when I've seen Liverpool beat Man. U. Well maybe.
Just back from huge delicious lunch, goats cheese salad with strawbs you name it it was there, huge steak which we shared, chips and grilled mixed veg, one bottle of wine shared! Now will have to go for long walks and a diet until Thurs! Will also go to hairdressers as do not like this style at all. All the other women are so much younger and i am!! If they think they are going to stuff me in the background in a rocking chair, knitting and mumbling into my bears, well they may be right!!
I can just see you perched on a rock Neti ..you'll be like the Little Mermaid :)
I'm making waffles shortly with cherries and cream .
Mr S has been roaming in the pantry and the jar of cherries is on it's last legs .
Well it turned out nice but very chilly out of the sun. I pottered about for about half an hour, lovely to be outside. It's a squealy music ding dinner for me. Actually I'll put it in the oven. I love all the hysteria at the mention of a ready meal....do they ever eat out or have takeaways I wonder? Heaven knows what some of that is and where it's come from.
Ps thanks for the offer Jude, you're very thoughtful. If you happen to hear of any gardeners will you let me know please...must have their own mower...hair and teeth optional, haha.
