Christmas Favourites
68 Answers
Well, now it's over and done with for another year, do you have any Christmas favourites, favourite present, favourite Christmas food/drink you had, favourite moment?
Mine, some lovely comfy boots which I love and were a great surprise, for the food it has to be brandy sauce, I love it! Drink has to be hot Gluwein. Moment, just feeling lovely and relaxed, not been so relaxed for a long time and curled up on the sofa with mum, wrapped up warm in a throw watching a film and being so lovely and warm and sleepy I ended up drifting off :)

I wasn't drunk at all, had some Weightwatchers wine with Christmas dinner which is actually really nice and light. Never tried one of those three bird roasts but heard they are really nice.

There were 4 of us for dinner and we ploughed through 2 bottles of Veuve and 2 bottles of port. The conversation and atmosphere was just fantastic. Food wise I didn't over-indulge as I am more of a picker than a stuffer.
Gift wise I had £700 off family and £25 off one of the Doctors at work, plus a some showergel, wine and port.
Low point was my car accident on Boxing Day (still very achy)
Xx

Favourite moment was the electricity coming back on at 5.30am Christmas eve morning and staying on! Favourite food was a dark chocolate orange - never tire of them, but only have them at Christmas as a special treat.
Now i too am wrapped up on the sofa but wish there was a decent TV drama to watch. Instead I'm planning a journey for the New Year and playing a bit Jewel. Mania!
