Don't waste your time with the above.
I assume that you are taking Alopurinol every day to prevent the attacks...then why not give Ibuprofen 600mgms a go now, at the start of an attack.
I also presume that your diagnosis has been made by blood tests.

I have had gout since 1988. Once I t had been diagnosed I was put on Alipurinol. Foolishly I only used to take it when I had an attack and then for a short while afterwards. It wasn't until I took up Tae Kwon-Do that I took it regularly because I did not want to miss any lessons. Since then I have had no gout attacks so my advice to you is if it gout and you are prescribed alipurinol do take it daily.
You need to locate and isolate whatever it is in your diet that is causing the production of excess uric acid.
For me, it is bacon and sausages, it may be the salt, but laying off them stops my gout from flaring.
It may be something else for you, dairy, salt, pastry, sugar, but there will be something that when diminished or removed from your body, will stop the gout.
Do some experiments by analysing what you were eating and drinking in the days before an attack, and then withdraw them one by one until you find the culprit, and eliminate it.
Simply masking or treating the issue isn't the answer, eliminating the cause is what you need.

A-H is correct, identifying the offending food may reduce the severity and frequency of an attack of gout, but it is not a cure and for that one needs pharmacological agents (drugs)
The other complicating factor is that not all purines (gout inducers) initiate an attack of gout.......
