Coronation Street

I know people are probably sick of the Coronation Street topic but what did you all make of last night's offering? I have fond memories of wading through a box of Black Magic (and maybe a Babycham lol!) on Christmas nights whilst watching the Coronation Street pantomime. Don't we want the "feel good" factor anymore - just gloom and doom? On that score, Call the Midwife was excellent but not what I'd call cheery viewing.
