Oh my oh my oh my... I tasted pear kopparberg cider in my local wetherspoons on saturday. I love it, it's so good. The problem is, I want to take some to a party tomorrow night - anyone know where I can get some? Maybe sainsburys or threshers? Thanks folks. davies2209 xx

Oooooh I saw it yesterday in my local Fruit of the Vine shop ! I live in Northern Ireland, so I don't know if you have this company in the rest of the UK.

So is it nice then ? I wanted to try it....I'm a big fan of Magners !

I fully agree - it's so much nicer than that other nonsense normally associated with teenagers and bikesheds etc. I think I saw it in the main offy in Botanic Avenue, Belfast recently - nice large boxes of it going there! - don't know where you're based though, but that's the only one I can think of at present. Have you tried running a web search under the brand name or under a firm like Diageo?

Good grief Scampchen....that's the one I was talking about, that's my local offie !!!! I live on botanic ! :-S

lol ! maybe there's only one that sells them in the UK then !

That's me well spooked out now lol - and you'll now get hammered tomorrow night on the cheap! If they've run out God forbid, you can make up for it in Wetherspoons. I noticed that the Garrick does it behind the bar as well so there's two places I know of that you can sup it in public (once your hangover subsides). Hope your party goes well!
Just noticed I got my reply a bit pear-shaped there, but hey, when you get to my age it happens. Haven't drunk anything tonight honest.

lol ! I was spooked too ! What are the chances of that happening hey ! The whole of the UK, and we end up talking about the same shop, on the same street !

Gotta taste the stuff now..damn it ! :-)

IKEA sells it in their food bit its fab ! Much cheapness too !

Just a quick word to say I've just bought a bottle of it in my offie. Will update you later ! ;-)

One word : Yuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmm !!!!

Think I might go back and buy a box ! lol

i have only jumped on this band wagon, only started drinking this last night,i got 6 tonight from the bar i got them from.guess what......im in belfast also lol freaky belfast must be the drink capital lol anyway what size bottels and what price are they at this offies yous talk about.is it the offie near the lyric???

Big : they are 1.65 a bottle ( I think...memory a bit hazy after the week end...lol ), they are pint bottles ( but smaller than Magners ). Bought them from the Fruit of The Vine on Botanic avenue. I'll certainly buy some more from where mine came from ! lol

It's weird, it seems this shop is the only place in the UK that sells them ! Lucky us eh ! :-)

have you tryed the mixed fruit 1?? i havent tryed it yet but will do as soon as i can,its 7 odd percent.i hadmore pear yesterday with my sunday dinner in weather spoons....also tasted the silver aftershock...thats pretty nice.im going over to get some bottles an this offies you have said about....im in east belfast and the only place to get them here is the center spot bar
Just found a link that will let you buy cases online as I can't find them anywhere round here (Essex).

Can't wait til they get here now!!
I'd def recommend getting it from Ikea - 22.80 for a case of 24 cans! Much cheaper than on the net... and I've also discovered they do a non-alcoholic version, which (yes I know it isn't as much fun BUT) tastes exactly the same and is a great for those times when boozing isn't appropriate.. like in work!
I also found it in Ikea, but they only sell the non alcoholic one as far as I can fathom. Still it tastes the same, just means you can drink loads of pints without feeling like sh*te the next day! Anyone know where, in the uk (sorry you guys in Ireland!) that you can buy it?
i went to cardiff ikea to try and buy some and they also only had the no alcholic version does anyone no if the bristol store sells the real deal stuff??
Last time i went to Ikea in Bristol they had it, the time before they only had the alcohol-free one. Think its luck with stocking levels. Ask the staff i guess!
