roller disco in london!

has anyone ever been to the roller disco at bagleys nightclub on a thurs or friday night in kings cross, london? i got roller skates for xmas and really want to go but my boyf is worried as from what he knows of it its a rough club in a rough area.

I don't know london well at all so any advice or alternative suggestions welcome!

i used to go clubbing at bagleys and even though its in a rough place i never had any trouble and i got into some states where i could easily been taken advantage of, found everyone to be really nice but this was a few years ago x

though bagleys has a bit of a reputation - some of it deserved - i can promise you that there has never been any trouble at the roller disco lol i would love to see it kicking off with everyone in skates would make my night :)
the roller night thing is silly and fun - go enjoy yourself and don't be put off by the area - yes it looks a bit bleak all tucked away on an industrial estate thingy behind the train station but its not as bad as it looks (well i've never been in any trouble - though again this is going back a few years)

Bagleys, my God, is that still open? Remember going there over 6 years ago. Wicked place, or at least it was. Didn't realise it had a roller disco in now. Good idea, it certainly had plenty of space for it. Will be sure to check it out next time am in London.

From what I remember it was a bit of a weird walk to and from the club but I never had any problems. And they always had police present. Not sure about now.

Not much of a club person myself so can't recommend anything else but am sure folks in here will give you plenty of other options.

YES!!! omg get down there, its a brilliant place, especially if you like watching people in tight fitting clothes and spandex! Have many a good night there "rolling the night away"... mind you you will need a week to recover, I couldn't sit down for a week!!!! very sore!!!!
