Gold champagne

Someone at work has said that they have read about a champagne that has real gold flecks in it. Has anyone else heard of this?

i know that yoru asking for trouble if you drink alcohol with gold in it.
this is true for goldschlager but i havent heard of champaign apparently (hear say) if you drink the gold yoru more likely to barf.

The gold in goldshlager is there to cut your throat on the way down so the alcohol goes straight into your blood - apparently. So i guess i would get you drunk faster and possibly lead to barfing. Maybe its in the champagne for the same reason? Seems abit Chavvish for Champers though!?

Its great , not too expensive, tastes good and looks lovely with all those gold flakes moving around and no the gold does not cut your throat as you drink it.

Gold Champagne does exist, it is obviously made in the Champagne region in France (or it could not be called "champagne"). It has 24 carat gold flakes and I have read that gold is good for you (to eat!!!) and it is aphodisiac! I have found it at www.france-caviar.com (they also sell gold caviar & snail caviar!)

Yes, I have come across it. it is sold by www.france-caviar.com worldwide, it has real 24 carat gold flakes "dancing" in the bottle / your glass. I have bought one for my dad'd 60th birthday, that was the talking point of the day :-)
Apparently, gold is good for you (I am talking about nutritious for your body, but it is also god in your bank!) and also aphodisiac...

According to the champagne laws you cannot out a foreign object into Champagne and call it "Champagne"... if you look on www.france-caviar.com it say champagne base "boisson" which means drink.

However I read that a new champagne is coming out with Diamonds... I think its called Champagne Eternal Diamonds....
