Do you mean the one that went "round round it gets around, mateus rose it gets around"? I think it was a beach boys song.

no that isnt it either,it was in the 70s the one i am trying to find. i recall having the music on 45 single!!!!!!!!!! but cant remember the title or the performers,god i must be getting old!!!!!
