Have you had a test for Helicobacter Pylori ? If not ask your GP if you can have one. It causes inflammation of the stomach lining and has a link to the development of duodenal and gastric ulcers. My sister has reflux problems and finds Manuka very good. I tried Mastika gum, it didn't work, but later was found to have H Pylori and after treatment have been clear of ulcers for over three years.I hope this helps you in some way as the pain can be excruciating
prob not much use but have used it on infected wounds etc and works fantastic get really good results.. they even use it on dressing materials now
I have a spoonful in my tea, which I drink black, this site may be helpful, but i've yet to hear from somone who has used it for any of the ailments on it, I you do use it, come back and report, i'd be interested.

I've got breast cancer which has caused a very large ulcer and the sister when I was in hospital was a wound specialist and she swore by it for any kind of ulcers, I've been using the Manuka dressings for about six months now and although the ulcer is too big to be cured the dressings keep it free from infections.
Brilliant for leg ulcers as well.
