Going to a supper quiz at a town church hall with friends very soon, too, which am pretty excited about. There is always such a good buzz at these quiz evenings- very friendly atmosphere too. Thanks Mccfluff + hope you win more prizes at your pub quizes, too! Have been to some fun quizes, especially in my youth. Won a big jug of Sangria which really enjoyed in the summer along with my mates- almost 16 years ago ;-)

I do a quiz with my team every Monday night. When we have wins we put the money in the Christmas Saving Club and have a share out at the end of the year.

We quiz with another couple every week and like greenfingers we save any winnings. We usually have enough for at least one weekend away and a couple of meals every year. I do much better in live quizzes as I don't make silly mistakes with spelling of missing a question that I seem to do with my written quizzes and they are not such a solitary pastime and we can have a couple of drinks. We won �10.00 last night - all grist to the mill

I quiz with friends almost every night, weekdays at local pubs, winning occasionally and weekends at local halls, schools etc winning now and then. We really enjoy them and it certainly beats watching the box!
I also hold regular quiz nights (3 monthly) in cambridgeshire if any of you are interested we always welcome new faces, All monies go to charity, we serve a hot supper and have a jolly good evening .
