Hi. I'm organising a birthday party soon and am wondering about buying boxed wines instead of bottles - cheaper, more convenient etc, Can anybody recommend any and where they may be stocked? I've been on Asda's site and I see they do their own brand boxed wines. Has anybody out there tried them? Would be grateful for any advice. Thanks in advance.

Can't really comment except keep an eye on your Tesco's and Sainsbury's as they often do 1/2 price wines and sometimes and additional 10 per cent off for six or twelve.
If you like crisp white, I highly recommend this one from Sainsburys Palastri Pinot Grigio - a 3L box currently a 1/3rd off so £ 19.99

Thanks for your advice DTcrosswordfan and LCD134. Much appreciated. Sainsburys seems to be the place to go!!
Its nice cookery update
Netto do a very nice boxed Grenache - it's where we go for party wine, worth a look, very competitively priced.
