I am considering buying an HO but has anyone tried cooking chips, not frozen ones, in it and how are they taste-wise and quantity-wise?

TIA

My uncle does, they turn out like thin, elongated roast potatoes, nice and crispy.
I have no idea but if you do a site search for halogen oven you will see lots of previous postings. You may find something in them to help.
I have had my Halogen oven for 2 years and would not be without it now . I only use my big oven when family are here. I never thought of trying chips in it apart from frozen ones but I have done roast potatoes and they were ok.You can do anything in them that a conventional oven does.
You couldn't give a proper answer, you deep-fry everything, even your puddings!
What are you on about Molly?
Sorry Molly the penny has dropped . In Scotland deep fried haggis black and white puddings even mars bars. lol
