I lived in a pub when I was growing up so from about 16 Dad would let me have a discreet drink with my sisters, only one or two though. It was about that age I started going to clubs and pubs with friends.

My 18th birthday and no I didn't get drunk as I only had Baileys (I had tasted alcohol before)
No, next time I drank was my 21st.
Only drank on rare occasions after that because I had the children who seemed to be breast fed forever.
Drink more now the kids are older but mainly at home and at a weekend.

I remember having a bad cold when I was a tiny wee lass in Scotland and my Grampa gave me a little tot of brandy. Can't remember if it worked, though! As a child, I spent a lot of time in France, with my paternal Grandma and as kids, my cousin & I were allowed some wine diluted with water to drink at dinner (the adults obviously had it undiluted!) - we were only about 5 or 6 at the time. I'm still a wine drinker but can't remember the last time I got drunk (read into that what you will!!).
We had restaurants in the family, one with a huge cellar.
So from age 11 I was allowed the occasional glass of wine such as at Christmas or on Sunday
First time I bought was when I was 14 in a pub up from the Bradford Boys Club which we were visiting - all part of the ritual and a 1/2 pint of lager
No to the pizzed thing. That was on Gin when I was 16 in a mates caravan - have always liked it. Hate Bacardi as that was the first thing I was ill on (partly as I did not realise that the medication I was on would react.....)
Have never depended on alcohol and consumption is (and has been relatively moderate)....and now mainly wine. I also do fallow month each Jan and have done it for 25 years plus.
If the underlying question is about age to start, I believe in the French method - a little wine at a young age (and I gave mine the choice of diluted or straight wine) and effectively education about moderation and the differences in wine types etc etc....its one thing my ex and I agree on and she hardly drinks.

Sherry Xmas 1943. Liked it and have a glass before lunch every day.
Early teens we would buy cheap hooch in flat bottles and drink them in the pictures through a straw, gawd 'elp us!
Most disgusting ever got was in a pub in the Mendips after a tough caving trip. We bought loads of scrumpi, barred the door with a piano at closing time and got absolutely stoshius.

I was just turned 15 at my sister's 18th party. She bought me taboo & lemonade and yes from that point I carried on drinking every week as I realised what fun it was lol.
I would get a bottle of cider usually and drink in the park or on the streets with my best friend. I then went to nightclubs when I was still 15 but nearing 16. The town where we would go was notorious for allowing under age drinkers in. I have never looked my age (in fact still get asked now in Sainsburys at times even though I'm 34!)

(as a fellow Devonian) we used to have cider sometimes on a Sunday when I was quite little. I first bought it myself when a few of us at age 15 snuck into the discos in Ilfracombe. The first time I got drunk was when I was 18 and working behind a bar one NY eve. I got absolutely hammered on vodka (the landlord was one of the people who gave them to me plus customers kept buying me them) I`ve never touched vodka since.
I have no idea what age I was, but I was pretty young. Mu mum always allowed my sister and I to toast in the New Year with a very weak Vermouth or a shandy (and my grandpa would always sneak me a wee shandy in the pub when I was only about 6 or 7). I first got drunk at 13 when my cousin poured every clear alcoholic beverage she could find (at a New Year's Party) into a glass and dared me to drink it. I spent half an hour laughing and the next 3 hours throwing up. I started going to the pub not long before my 18th.
I think my first alcoholic drinks were actually sat up to the Bar of the White Hart Inn when I was about 14 still dressed in school uniform with a half pint of Brown Ale that set me back about 12 pence. I was never a heavy drinker but would frequent pubs occasionally after that, if PC plod opened the pub door we were ushered through to the back room prompt.
I rarely drink now but I do enjoy a pint of real ale maybe once or twice a month. I cant drink that fizzy lager type stuff, foul!!!

First drank whisky when I was 2 because i thought it was apple juice ( i ended up sleeping for a few days but I was fine) But I first drank with friends when I was 14 on holiday. I started drinking again 6 months afterwards when I was 15 and this summer I went to Greece and went to some bars and clubs to drink which was awesome haha.
