I shall be doing what I should have done last night - massacring a bottle of Viognier and have a platter of oriental nibbles, sushi and indian snacks. We ended up going out last night - my mother's first trip outdoors since Feb - and got slaughtered. The restaurant kept serving us drinks but couldn't find us a table. Then the silly plonkers didn't put the wine or champagne on the bill, so the whole bill only came to £59. I might go there again next week...
