a Tesco tale

I was at Galleons Reach yesterday and though I dont normally shop at Tesco they do have a big branch there so I thought its holiday weekend coming up so lets get it done and dusted, I ended up paying £81 for my shopping. I got home and the postman had delivered my club points from Tesco[mainly from petrol] and inside was a voucher for £7 off your shopping if you spend over £50 ! I phoned them to ask if I went to Cutomer Services could I claim the £7 [ why not- every little helps ?] and they said no you have to hand it over when you pay.Well I am not likely to spend another £50 before next week when it expires ! why do these things always happen to moi ?

Dee Sa - if you go to Customer Service with your shopping receipt, and say you left them at home by mistake and put an innocent face on, it may work.

My Dad does his shopping at Tesco in Galleons Reach - he lives in Barking. just thought I would tell this useless piece of information hahaha

When you go shopping for a few bits next week, ask all your friends/relatives if they want you to pick anything up for them. You should be able to rack the bill up to £50,us your voucher AND gain huge brownie points

Dee-sa, Don't throw that voucher away because I've got a feeling you've read it wrong. If you look again you'll see its dated for 2013 so you've got two years to spend it. If not phone [phone] & then press 0 someone will tell you the same I made the same mistake and I've got £15 to spend, so I phoned and thats what they said.
