Can anyone tell me whats fair about some guy getting £11,000 worth of tickets that he wasnt bothered about getting, and me applying for £150 worth, and not getting any at all. I feel that it must pay to be greedy. I am CROSS grrrrrrrrr
it's not supposed to be "fair" - it is supposed to be a lottery. And by that reasoning, someone who applied for £11,000 worth of tickets is more likely to get some that someone who applied for £150 worth
I got some but I don't know what they are - presumably they'll notify me some time in the next 12 months or so. But like bednobs says, it's a lottery. The more tickets you buy, the bigger chance of winning something.
oh dear jj you will have to jog around brighton,a coach might see you think you are good enough to compete in the 500 metres and hey presto...youre in...lol
you are nicely set up for the synchronised swimming final then, Jayne, on the next round of allocation.
Congrats (and please I don't need a ticket for that).
Seriously, I know a woman who was on the Canadian team for that "sport" but, to be fair to her, she is a double Olympian having been a skier and is now a Doctor to both the Canuck winter and summer teams.
bednobs, it appeared last night on my credit card statement, which I can access online. Seems to be athletics though I can't remember exactly which ones (certainly won't be a final). I haven't heard anything from the organisers yet.
