I love gravy! More standard stuff though, lots of pleaces seem to have shoved other stuff in it in ones I've had out over the last few years, probably to be more posh but it tastes funny to be, give me the old fashioned unfaffed with stuff anyday. Oh I have a craving now! Might have to dig some oven chips out later :)
im the same purple popple, if im just having a 'small' pudding, i like to eat it with a small spoon, ie a teaspoon.
oh and i cant have ice cream in the same dish as my strawberries either, oh no! .. lol
I like onion gravy on my Yorkshire puddings or with liver and sausage with mash, but not too bothered about a lot of gravy on anything else. Not keen on custard either, just a couple of spoonfuls on a sponge pud would do.
agree with you purple_p really hate gravy on my meat and if i want it on veg i will put it there not served up with it. most "gravies" are just not edible anyway. tasteless glue-like glumpy liquid.
don't eat puddings very much and certainly nothing smothered in cream or custard. eugh.
I loathe and detest gravy. And custard. I am sure it is a throwback to crappy school meals. However, I still do not see the point of putting loads of flavours on your plate and then covering them with the same thing.
