I use a fork to eat some desserts but it just doesn't work with custard. :o/

My Dad is exactly the same!!! Eating a big bowl of trifle with a teaspoon!!!
I ask ya! And definitely no gravy on his dinner, dry as a bone!

Good question Dotty ! With a knife and fork:)
I love gravy! More standard stuff though, lots of pleaces seem to have shoved other stuff in it in ones I've had out over the last few years, probably to be more posh but it tastes funny to be, give me the old fashioned unfaffed with stuff anyday. Oh I have a craving now! Might have to dig some oven chips out later :)
A friend of mmine doesn't like gravy, so eats sunday lunch covered with tomato sauce :D x
-- answer removed --
It's not a Sunday without gravy, so long as it's not that coloured water a lot of places tend to serve up and pretend it's gravy
No paddywak, has to be the real homemade stuff! xx
I will only use a small spoon when it comes to "spoon foods"
im the same purple popple, if im just having a 'small' pudding, i like to eat it with a small spoon, ie a teaspoon.
oh and i cant have ice cream in the same dish as my strawberries either, oh no! .. lol
I hate gravy with a passion (not keen on any sauce that disguises what's underneath it).
I love onion gravy............
That is strange loooby. Have you tried Eton Mess?

I like onion gravy on my Yorkshire puddings or with liver and sausage with mash, but not too bothered about a lot of gravy on anything else. Not keen on custard either, just a couple of spoonfuls on a sponge pud would do.
Roast beef and yorkshires with gravy.
Lamb with mint sauce.
Pork with apple sauce.

I've just finished my tea and toast so thankfully I'm not peckish :)
Don't like to eat yoghurt with a teaspoon.
My mates daughter eats scrambled eggs with gravy :-@
agree with you purple_p really hate gravy on my meat and if i want it on veg i will put it there not served up with it. most "gravies" are just not edible anyway. tasteless glue-like glumpy liquid.

don't eat puddings very much and certainly nothing smothered in cream or custard. eugh.
I loathe and detest gravy. And custard. I am sure it is a throwback to crappy school meals. However, I still do not see the point of putting loads of flavours on your plate and then covering them with the same thing.
Love gravy!.......hate dry food!.........don't mind the size of the spoon really!....................lol.............
