Another potato question...
5 Answers
I now have all my bags and containers of potatoes at my new place... hooray! However, in the last few days, I've noticed that the Roosters suddenly look a bit floppy. Just before I moved them, they were really healthy looking and the stalks and leaves shot straight up. They even had little flowers on the top.
I've just been out to have a look at them, and it's got much worse. The stalks are all hanging over, and some of the leaves just look dead.
Is this normal, are they now ready to harvest... or did the stress of moving house kill them?

If there in the sun a lot you will have to water them most evenings. The leaves start to flop mainly because of lack of water and/or food. If they have been moved from a different location, maybe they are getting more wind or more sun on them that can cause them to flop as the change of enviroment. If this is the case they may well take a few days or so to pick up again and get used to the new enviroment.
