Sainsbury are stocking this as a limited editio product. We love it and urge others to try hoping it will become a regular product.

In a recent Which? blind-tasting, Heinz tomato ketchup came 12th out of 13! Sainsbury (along with Tesco and M&S) came top. Worth trying as it's half the price of Heinz and DOES taste very good.

this tastes altogether different with the addition of balsamic!
Why not try making your own ketchup, then you know who has touched it, tasted it etc. You also know exactly what has gone into it, you can make it with whatever flavours you like (easy enough to add some balsamic vinegar in the making)
Can be made with fresh or tinned tomatoes and it takes very little time to prepare and cook down.
Simply delicious!!
Masterchef I've always found that trying to recreate kfc/heinz recipes ends in mess, an inferior product and you having to go out in the end to get the real article in craving desperation.
I have noticed that Heinz products especially beans seem a lot less tomatoey these days. Ginge....which came top in the tasting??? Was it a draw?
bimbo; almost a draw. 1st Sainsbury 76% test score 2nd both M&S and Tesco 74%....... 12th Heinz 66%. Taking quantity into account, Heinz was at least twice the cost of the winners.
