Rocket - a herb?

Just want to check this as a crossword reference; I have some dictionaries that suggest rocket is classified as a herb. I'm not sure, but equally not sure what I'd call it if not a herb. Any ideas?

I've always thought of Rocket as lettuce, never imagined it as a herb.

Rocket is a herb and is a member of the mustard family. And it's delicious.

I grow it form a packet of mixed salad and herbs seeds. It definitley has the strong flavour of a herb. More of a herb than a vegetable I think.
