A pint of Kronenburg cost 65p.In 1968 A pint of starlight bitter cost 1/10P-Less than 10p in new money!!
I suppose geography may play a part in the answer but I remember a pint of bitter costing 45p in 1980.
I worked in a pub in the North West circa 1981 and it was 49p for a pint of bitter and 47p for a pint of mild. Think lager may have been around 51p.
When I first started going to pubs way back in 1983 it cost about 50p for a half! (In Oxford)
I remember buying a pint of Castletown Bitter in the isle of man for 25p in 1979/80 - you could also buy an 11 gallon cask for about 12 at the brewery (but you had to pay a deposit of about 5 on the cask and tap which you got back when you returned it)
