Got some black pudding from while out shopping with my friend earlier today, the one which you get in that black plastic packaging, she seems to think you cannot eat it straight out of the packet which i always do, i never cook it! She said it will be dangerous?! I've been eating it like this ever since i was younger when my parents used to make me have it as it had alot of iron in! not i wont dare eat it lol

It's already cooked! - all you do for a breakfast is warm it up.....
you're perfectly safe.......
It's better that way :-)

thank you, looked on the packaging and it said cooking instructions so that got me a bit worried, i love it like that also, never tasted it fried etc yum can eat some now
I don't really like it much....but it's def better uncooked ( or re-heated)
I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want to eat an uncooked black pudding!

I really don't think I could eat it cold - nice and grilled and crispy does it for me every time, either with breakfast, or with grilled scallops and bacon for a main course..... ooh, I could just eat some now!
Thanks Boxy, you've just given me some inspiration., I'm off to the kitchen.......
I love black pudding cold and fried.
