Possible Ovarian Cancer, Would i be losing weight????
3 Answers
Hiya. I have a mass on my right ovary that my GP says is potentially Malignant.
I told this to a good friend and she says that if I had Cancer I would without a doubt be losing weight. My weight has been steady for over a year now.
Is it true that I would be losing weight?
As i'm not losing weight does that mean that I am unlikely to have Ovarian Cancer?
Any advice will be much appreciated.x

Equally, I wouldn`t necessarily assume that you have cancer because you have a mass on your ovary. You might have an ovarian cyst. Some can be malignant and some are not. Further tests will confirm that. A friend of mine had an ovarian cyst many years ago and had problems getting rid of it but it was benign.
Hi, it is a cyst but Blood tests have shown a possbility of it being Cancerous. Luckily it is very localised so it should be able to be removed without any repercussions...I hope..Ive told the doc to take the lot away if necessary as my Baby Making days are over so my baby cooking bits are now surplus to requirements..x
