Attempting to bake a sachertorte

Recipie calls for plain choc...i like
It but im sure my guets dont- my question is does it tase very "plain chocolatey" or would milk choco be ass effective- choc must be 70% cocoa min xx

Delia's recipe calls for 50-55% cocoa solids. Bearing mind all the other ingredients, I wouldn't have thought it would be too strong. And Cadburys have this to say "However, milk chocolate is very heat sensitive which makes it unsuitable in baking. Milk chocolate is best used only in recipes that specifically call for it."
Sachertorte is on the big bake off now on bbc2
I watched the big bake off a few nights ago and Mary Berry recommended using chocolate with no more than 30% cocoa otherwise the cake would be too bitter.
I've been to the Hotel Sacher in Vienna (from where Sacher-Torte originates).

But I couldn't make one.

Was that any help?
I don't like plain or dark chocolate to eat but it definitely tastes and handles better in cooking. If it says 70% and you think that's going to be too much, go for 50-60% but I really wouldn't advise milk chocolate.
I've asked Mr.T (baker and confectioner)
He says liquified 70% chocolate is used

I thought as much about milk choc!!!!! Thanks alot guys !! However i changed my mind and made othet things ahahxxx
