just reading this article in the guardian how pets are suffering, when i found myself short of money and waiting for my wages to go in i had to make a fag out of dimps from the ashtray and had beans for tea
my 3 cats had their usual plus tin of tuna and fresh sliced ham for supper
would you go without for your pets or would you put them on a diet

Not sure if dogs are easier than cats here? But I have to say my dog has been downgraded to Tesco value dog food (complete food) and she's not complained- well, she's not said anything anyway ;-)
She's learnt- eat what you're given, or starve :P
I don't feel guilty- the rest of the household has also been downgraded to tesco's "finest".
