I hate making this stuff but it's sometimes necessary, has anyone tried to freeze it? Thanks for any answers. RR

I make a basic bechamel sauce regularly for fishermans pie and cauliflour cheese which I then freeze in small portions for Little Tiggs. Seems fine when defrosted and heated so I would imagine its ok to freeze on its own.

There's a coincidence - you hate making it, and I hate eating it. Yuk.
if making it for a lasagne/ mousaka use plain cottage cheese with a handful of grated cheese for flavour , no one will ever know

Lol rojash, I don't eat it on it's own. Thanks all for the replies, think I'll give it whirl and see what happens.
